Four stars, the highest rating that can be obtained, is a measure of how well we private providers (within Arbetsförmedlingen's initiative Rusta and Matcha) have succeeded in coaching and matching jobseekers to work or studies.
Last week on Friday the grades were released and we have never seen anything like this. Trimtab today has four stars in the cities: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Västerås, Helsingborg, Lund and Ängelholm.
The time margins have not always been on our side. We have lived through stopped procurements, ongoing agreements that should not be changed, but which are then changed so that it should not be ongoing, and then replaced by a new agreement.
As an organization, we always want to develop what we are here to do: support jobseekers towards work or study, and not lose momentum due to uncertain investments and bureaucracy. Against this backdrop, a certain feeling of frustration has sometimes set in.
Trimtab was started in 2019, we were then two people with a desk, a computer and a phone each who decided that we would do something good in the matchmaking segment.
It was far from perfect but there was no doubt then or now why we chose this journey: the certainty of the impact coaching and matching has, how it can make people dare more, feel significant, dare to think new.
Soon, more offices were opened and more job seekers chose us as a supplier. It went quickly, people became engrossed and gave everything to reach our set vision. Some would perhaps say that it became an obsession, but not if you ask us, we would just become the best option in Sweden for people who needed help finding a job or an education.
Regardless of what we call them, our immediate family has been involuntarily influenced by the Trimtab concept, both for better and for worse, therefore a certain feeling of renunciation has sometimes been present.
Today, Trimtab is found in most cities from Malmö in the south to Gävle in the north. We have fantastic employees who help develop the organization, drive what characterizes Trimtab: lack of prestige, that we all work on the floor, believe in our method, believe in our concept and that all job seekers who choose us, who have the will to start their journey , also feel that we believe in them.
Therefore, the strongest feelings and the ones that overcome all others are: warmth, pride and an enormous gratitude towards all our employees who constantly develop the company and challenge us with new ideas.
It was at the last minute that we got our grades before the current agreement changes to a new one and it will be quite a while before the next measurement takes place. Therefore, Friday evening was an evening to remember, we received the receipt that we are one of the best alternatives, in large parts of Sweden, for people who need support in finding a job or an education.
It is your work and commitment that has put Trimtab on the map, your work that makes a difference and means something.
